Got a question? Need it answered? Let us know from our contact page! Meanwhile, here are the latest questions we've been asked.
When will the iSew Academy app be available?
Will the iSew Academy be available on other platforms?
The app will initially be available for the iPad. If you want it on another platform - let us know! We have development plans and the greater the demand – the faster we’ll push ourselves and save our pennies to commit to the significant costs of alternative development platforms.
Do I need to be connected to the internet to use the app?
NO! You can open your app and use any of the free or purchased projects from your library anywhere, anytime. You can put your iPad next to your sewing machine and progress step by step through the project. No paper instructions, no printing (other than your pattern where necessary – but even then its easy to only print your required size). Once youve downloaded a project, you aren’t using bandwidth to watch your videos either. The iPad presents the perfect way to learn new projects.

How will I know there are new projects available in the iSew Academy app?
How much will projects cost?
I have a range of patterns. Can I get published in the iSew Academy?
Yes! The iSew Academy is the perfect app publishing opportunity for designers who offer great products. All the details for submitting a project for consideration are here. The iSew Academy is already in discussions with some clever designers!
What’s with those project titles?
We’re glad you asked! As 2 proud Queenslanders and Aussies, we wanted to showcase our beautiful state and it’s wildlife. So, all in-house developed projects are named after beautiful places (like the Daintree Drawstring Dress) or our fabulously unique Australian wildlife. The Happy Halter features the Kookaburra whose call is often called a happy laugh. He may not necessarily be so happy but we Aussies all learn a song when we’re young “Kookaburra sits in the old Gum Tree. Merry, merry king of the bush is he. Laugh! Kookaburra, Laugh! Kookaburra, gay your life must be. Now we are showing our age. That’s when gay was happy. Get it now?!
